I don’t breed in high volumes so I won’t always have babies available to rehome to pet homes but I operate a waiting list so I am able to keep you updated if a suitable pup becomes available.
I work hard to raise baby hamsters that will be good pets and they are handled regularly from the age of two weeks to get them used to human contact. However they will still need a couple of days to settle into their new home and get used to you before they develop a bond.
It is usually the responsibility of the new owner to ensure that they are able to collect their new hamster as deliveries outside of the Bath and West Wiltshire area will not be possible. If asking for delivery you may be asked to make a reasonable contribution to travel costs.
I usually attend all but one of the shows arranged by the Southern Hamster Club and most of the shows arranged by the Midland Hamster Club and am more than happy for you to collect your hamster at any one of these events providing I have sufficient notice to prepare everything your new hamster will need for collection.
You will usually be offered one hamster which I have identified as being a suitable match for you based on the answers you have given me as part of your application form but occasionally you may be able to choose from a selection. Your offer email will tell you what you will be offered.
I am always happy to help you if you have any questions or queries about any aspect of hamster care and I will provide this throughout the hamster’s life.
If you find that you can no longer keep your hamster then please contact me as soon as possible. Any Metallica baby is welcome back at any time regardless of their health or age and without judgement.
